Sent me used pedals

I’m giving these a decent review because I have them on another bike and I like them. But, this new pair they sent me used pedals that were just tossed in a box. Weird and annoying because now I have to return them and replace them.

Pros
  • SMOOTH BEARINGS: LSL bushing & sealed. Very smooth and reliable. Axle: 9/16" CNC machined Cr-Mo. Double sided clipless, Cleat: Compatible with Shimano SPD type cleats SC-C01F (single release) included.
Cons
  • May require frequent adjustments to maintain proper tension

Great buy for your bucks

I do like these, unfortunately, both adjustment screws came out at some point during one of my commutes. Have no clue at what point. But I definitely would recommend them. I would love it if I could find similar screws to replace the ones that got lost.

Pros
  • I did not buy the bigger platform side. But still looks great and its not that light.
Cons
  • Platform can be slippery in wet conditions

Great pedals: my feedback

I highly recommend these pedals. They are better than some at a much higher price point. I will definitely buy these again in the future for my other bikes. Don't think about these pedals, just buy them, you will not be sorry!

Pros
  • Designed to support proper alignment and balanced pedaling
Cons
  • May require some adjustment for riders with unusually shaped feet

A compromise isn't always a good thing

I used to ride mountain bike exclusively clipped in. On my new e mountain bike I was a little unsure that I'd want to be clipped in on steep descents but love clips for long flats or uphill. I thought this would offer the best of both worlds. However when you want to be clipped you have to manipulate the pedals to make sure the clip side is up and when you don't want to be clipped, right in the middle of a steep descent I sometimes feel the unwanted click of the clip engaging. I realize now…

Pros
  • ‎9 / 16 inches
Cons
  • May not be compatible with certain types of cycling apparel

mountain bike peddle, but I use it on my road bike

This is a mountain bike peddle. If you're looking for a road bike peddle this not for you. I put it on my road bike because I like the idea of having a clip on one side and platform on the other. If I want to workout I use the clips and if I want to use the bike for commuting I can use the platform. P.S. don't be like me and buy clips it comes with them (I didn't pay attention).

Pros
  • Superior gripping power for enhanced stability
Cons
  • May be difficult to keep clean and free from dirt and debris

Nice looking good for me

Enjoying my pedals, need to adjust the left pedal for ease of snapping in. All in all, it is doing what I purchased it to do!

Pros
  • Off-road durability for smooth and reliable performance on any terrain
Cons
  • May not be as durable in extreme temperature or weather conditions

Good commuter pedal, but only works with some shoes

I have these on my around-town hybrid bike, and they've been great so far. I'm usually just riding with sneaker or hiking boots. They are lightweight, spin easily, and look good on the bike. My foot doesn't slip even when wet, but they're not super aggressive like a MTB platform pedal. My only negative comment is that they don't work with my Tommaso Roma cycling shoes, which do work great with all my other Shimano PD-M530 pedals and an SPD cleat. The problem is that the front of the SPD latching

Pros
  • ‎Adult
Cons
  • May not provide enough surface area for comfortable riding

First pair of "clipless " pedals ever

These are great, lightweight and work perfectly. I've put maybe 200 miles on them since my purchase and simply love them! The ability to flip the pedals and use without my clipless shoes on occasion is nice.

Pros
  • Exceptional grip to help you stay in control
Cons
  • May cause damage to the bike chain if not properly aligned

Problem resolved with a replacement set.

I attempted to install these on Shimano crank arms. Tried to start the left one and it wouldn’t work. I learned early in life to start EVERY threaded part by hand, otherwise the threads get stripped (never a good outcome).Sending them back. Frustrated because they were the last part I needed to upgrade my wife’s bike.Follow-up—It was a quality control problem. ebay sent a replacement set that work very well.

Pros
  • Reliable and durable construction to withstand tough riding conditions
Cons
  • Can be difficult to ride without proper cycling technique

Shin Killer for my opinion

Love the look and easy of use of these pedals. The one thing that i would change is how sharp the edges are. I have cut my legs just slightly bumping into them as i'm putting my bike up or unclipping at a stop sign. Still overall great pedals, they look great, and are very well made. Just watch your shins!

Pros
  • Bien para usar con cleats, la plataforma un poco pequeño para uso frecuente
Cons
  • Dual function platform may not be necessary for some riders

Maybe wait for 2.0: my feedback

I will start positive. They are inexpensive and the clipless side has adjustable tension. There are issues. The platform is narrow and on a short spindle. It only supports the inside half of my street shoe. My cycling shoe rubs on the crank when clipped because of this.My mountain bike shoes don't work with them because there isn't enough clearance for tread.

Pros
  • ‎Aluminum
Cons
  • May cause hot spots on the feet when used for long periods

Good platform pedal for commuting.

I prefer riding with SPDs but sometimes don't want to walk around wearing bike shoes. These pedals are perfect for my needs. Cleat tension needed to be adjusted to be made looser, otherwise clipping out with heel out tension was difficult. Not sure how the platform would hold up on a trail.but for casual street riding, seems to be a fine pedal.

Pros
  • Both clip in and regular street shoes perfect
Cons
  • Design may not be visually appealing to all cyclists

30 mile ride in and love the new kicks plates

Still on the fence about going clipless and want to flexibility of riding with tennis shoes. These pedals are solidly made and and about 20mm longer than my previous ones, making them more comfortable. New road bike is on the way and considering purchasing an extra pair for it. Would recommend.

Pros
  • Designed for the most demanding of cyclists
Cons
  • May be noisy when used with certain types of cycling shoes

Great choice for exercise bike

this is a great compromise for use on my ProForm bike. I can use my SPD cleats, and my wife can ride with her athletic shoes May not be ideal for riders with flat feet or high arches.

Pros
  • ‎0.48 Kilograms
Cons
  • May not be ideal for riders with flat feet or high arches

Great for mountain biking

I'd never heard of the brand but decided to get after reading a few reviews, very glad I did! In addition to the reasonable cost, they seem very well made. The bearings have held up well, the "pedal" side could use slightly larger spikes but I understand why they've used the ones they did as default. The SPD side clips in very easy esp due to the way the pedals are balanced and slightly "scooped"; my partner was so impressed she changed our her Shimanos for them. The pedals are way lighter than

Pros
  • Robust construction ensures exceptional strength and durability
Cons
  • May require some experimentation to find the optimal cleat position

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Compact, yet very sturdy. Works either way well.

Was looking for a pedal that was compact, well made, and dual purpose (cleats or no cleats). This fit in all aspects, without spending a fortune.

Pros
  • ‎7.09 x 5.12 x 2.36 inches
Cons
  • May strain the knees of those with a history of knee injuries

Great bargain pedal

These are a great option for a commuter bike. They feel about half as "solid" as a high end shimano pedal. Hence they cost half as much. Great for spd shoes or flats. I'm very happy with them for my Specialized Sirrus 2

Pros
  • Sports
Cons
  • May not be as efficient for longer rides

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Compatible in my review

It’s is compatible with the peloton bike especially if your shoes did not fit with the original pedals it brought. It gives a smooth ride and easy to clip in.

Pros
  • Excellent pedal very easy to clip on and off. Very good grip when unclipped. Will recommend
Cons
  • Can be noisy due to cleat engagement and disengagement

Great for beginners

These were my first SPD clipless pedals, they were great for learning and beyond. Having the option for flat is great! The paint did come off fairly quick, but all my pedals seem to do that. Super easy to install, easy to adjust float, clipping in and out is flawless. Highly recommend.

Pros
  • Exceptional pedal aesthetics with a clean, modern look
Cons
  • May not be as versatile as some other pedal types
