I received it in a small ziploc package, the pictures do not match. When I opened it up there were no creases so I had it hanging from my bike and when I put it on the cable a few threads snapped straight away. Don't buy this cable, it's not worth it. They are lucky they get 2 stars.

Quality cable! Its length is enough to replace any cable on a bike. I used it to replace a badly worn rear derailleur cable on a 700cc bike. your repair.

Excellent shift cable, stainless steel is much better than a shell and will not rust. For example, my only suggestion is a box of 10 of these cables. This will save you a lot of money. But I would recommend this product to anyone who needs it. Or, if you want to buy one but need more, buy more.

This article is non-returnable. I ordered a gear cable, but received a brake cable. Spoke to a Revain rep who is doing it right. I will order again hoping to get the right product. I can edit my review at this point. On the other hand the brake cable looks great and if I needed a brake cable I'm sure it would be perfect.

This is the BEST shifter cable I've ever used. I've tried cheap standard zinc cables (they work great for a racquet wheel BUT crap for precise derailing). I was happy with Nokon and Jagwire. BUT this is the best cable I have ever used. Smoother and smoother than coated cables. The ends are welded, which makes installation much easier and the cable does not fray. I will look for the best price. $8 for a cable is a bit pricey even if you only change it once a year. But I will definitely buy more.

Ideal replacement for a broken cable. I used this to replace the derailleur cable on my Trek bike. It would be long enough to move backwards if necessary. The end was welded in such a way that the cable could easily be routed through the existing pipe. There was a small grommet in the packaging that I smashed on the end of the cord as it was being cut to keep it from fraying. It took me about 10 minutes to get my bike running again. Will definitely buy these in the future as other cables wear…

Material: stainless steel, will not rust. The strands at the cut end were welded together. I was able to run the entire length of the cable from derailleur to derailleur without worrying about end wear. This made installation simpler, easier and faster.
