SHIMANO Tiagra 4700 10-Speed GS Rear Derailleur Review

I've been using this type of rear derailleur for about 7 years and had to replace it. I should have done this sooner, I didn't realize how much the game was developed in the original. This new one is much crisper when shifting.

The whole group Tiagra 4700 is very good. I ride 3 bikes with it. I've had Dura-Ace, Ultegra and 105's for the last 20 years and Shimano has shared most of the high tech with current Tiagra offerings. You will not be disappointed. Don't think about the old Tiagra, it's a good thing.

No complaints about the Tiagra 4700 series drivetrain found on some of our bikes. Note, however, that the shift ratio is similar to that of its 11-speed cousins in the 105 and Ultegra lines, so it's not backwards-compatible with Shimano's older 10-speed derailleurs.
