Waste of Money: my feedback

This adapter remover tool was a huge disappointment. Based on my experience, it didn't fit properly and I ended up damaging my bike. The tool slipped multiple times and scratched my bike, leaving me with a costly repair. The only positive is that it arrived quickly, but that doesn't make up for the damage it caused. I won't be recommending this tool to anyone in the Sports and Outdoors community. A waste of money.

Pros
  • Easy and straightforward adapter removal with minimal effort
Cons
  • Requires a specific tool for a single type of task, limiting its overall usefulness

Shimano TL-CN42 chain wear indicator

This is a great little tool. I use it quite often. This is an easy and reliable way to determine if your chain needs replacing.

Pros
  • Heat treated stainless steel
Cons
  • Hard to tell

Apparently one of the few accurate

There are many tools for measuring chain wear but these Shimano tools seem to be the only ones that "accurately" measure chain wear. OK, that's enough for me. I have the default park tool and now this one. This allows for a little more wear before replacement is recommended. There's plenty of room in my toolbox for these advanced tools. Got a great price from Revain and have used this tool many times on my various bikes. I can't help but use both tools to measure and compare them. Yes, I wouldโ€ฆ

Pros
  • High precision laser cut design
Cons
  • Low repairability
