Original Shimano in cycling

I was a little concerned that these would be counterfeits as the product photo and some of the reviews make it appear that they come in an unmarked bag but the packaging does I received appears to be the genuine Shimano.

Durable, easy to install, great value

If you use Shimano or Shimano (e.g. Bontrager) calipers, they work best. Easy to install, inexpensive, not noisy (some pads squeak) Long service life. There is no need to upgrade to a more expensive alternative. buy you. End of the story.

Inexpensive replacement brake pads for Shimano

Fits perfectly on my 2000 Shimano 105 caliper. Easy installation - just remove the side lock screw, pull out the old pads and insert new ones with the lock screw. Do-it-yourself homework in 10 minutes. Photo p;d vs new.

Pros
  • Stylish and modern design
Cons
  • Upgrades

Superior pad fit

Shimano road pads have always been among the best, delivering smooth, modular and reliable braking when you need it. I've used them on many consistent power bikes over the years. Installation is easy and only takes a few minutes. Highly recommended.

Pros
  • Brake pads GOLS certified
Cons
  • Weight

Good shoes, same ones I have in stock

Shoes work fine. They are the same make and model as on my bike. For reference, this is a specialized asphalt complex with Ultegra components. For the price, I'll just start changing them annually instead of waiting for the pair on my bike to wear out.

Pros
  • Great price
Cons
  • Not sure

Easy to install and very quiet

Brakes are perfect for my 2014 Fuji Sportif 1.3. The brakes I've used before made an awful rattle when braking and had a lot of metal shavings lodged in them. They have a lot more stopping power but are a lot quieter. Installation took about 2 minutes. A very great purchase!

Pros
  • Easy to set up
Cons
  • Easy to repair

Fast delivery of a great product at a great price. New replacement brake pads for my bike's Shimano front brake. The fit is perfect and easy to assemble. Runs smooth and quiet when applying the brake to slow down. Brings the bike to a slow, steady stop without brake vibration. Very happy with my purchase. Highly recommended.

Pros
  • Free for educational purposes
Cons
  • poorly thought out

Works well but is expensive

These Shimano brake pads work well, slide easily in the pads and do not squeak when properly adjusted. They are significantly more expensive than many bike brake pads, but I paid the price for the quality assurance. I have no experience with cheaper brake pads. The Shimano pads that came with my Trek road bike have lasted a long time so I assume these pads will last as well. FYI - these rim brake pads are designed for aluminum wheels, not carbon.

Pros
  • Pretty packaging
Cons
  • Can't remember

Authentic Shimano brake pads

Fits perfectly on my Shimano Dura-Ace 7800 calipers. Even the bolts (except they were black instead of silver) were identical to the bolts that were already on my calipers. I just reused my original screws to match the colors. The pads came in the same blue packaging as the photos posted by previous reviewers. Each pad is labeled with an "R" or "L" for left or right and has an arrow. Just make sure the arrow is pointing towards the front of the bike when you insert them and they should slide…

Pros
  • Slim design
Cons
  • Long delivery time
