Batman Starter Kit

I feel like Batman wearing these things. I got them for motorcycling because sometimes my goodies break or my legs hurt. Problem solved ;) I have NEVER worn a cup. Those shorts may have spoiled me, but I don't understand what the fuss is about cups. It's not uncomfortable at all. Yes, you have to stuff your man things in there somehow, but once they're in Batman's protective cover, they're safe from the world. This is important because the photos don't do it very well! Everyone wants BLUE. Now…

Quality over price

Used for sliding and catching 14 year old baseball players. To be honest I didn't like the price jump from competing brands so I chose the most competitive brands with my 14 year old son. This worked across the board, others had failures. Well padded but not restrictive, particularly the Catcher's coccyx protector and front thigh protector. Participants were either limited in their mobility or the padding was too thin to protect against slipping or throwing the ball as a catcher. This shock…

Not something I would buy again

Pretty uncomfortable. Anyone who wears a mug will tell you that it's uncomfortable on a regular basis. Sometimes you do it right I got lucky with my previous pair of Shock Doctor shorts. They have outlasted Under Armor shorts (not really a shock to me...I work in the apparel industry). The cup is very uncomfortable and difficult to put back in properly due to the way they use the cup holder. I can cut off the top. It makes absolutely no sense. The reviewers who say it's good for their kids…

Excellent support with no pressure. I'm so glad I found her.

I wear these shorts (without cups) for mountain biking and trials biking. The support is like no other I own in a good way. The "support" part is ergonomically correct and offers excellent support without squeezing. The padding is the outer layer that is neither tight nor sloppy. In summary: perfect support and padding that moves with me but does not impede my movements in any way. I wore them more often than I thought I would, so I ordered another pair so I could have clean shorts without…

Great for longsword fencers HEMA

Bought a pair of these after trying a few other longsword guards. We fight and compete with blunt steel longswords at full speed and strength, so defense is imperative and paramount to success. I was recommended other solutions like padded pants and a separate cup, but they just fit, so I decided to try them. I am happy to report that they are very comfortable. I'm 5ft 6in, 160lbs and wear a medium size over my boxers/briefs. They fit like a glove and stay in place for a full hour of sparring…

Patients with Parkinson's disease should have this

, I have Parkinson's disease and have often fallen. When I fall, my thigh touches the ground. It's only a matter of time before I hurt myself. These shorts give me the confidence to be active. I like to ride my bike, go to yoga classes and work in the garden. I prefer these shorts to other products for two reasons: 1. I live in a tropical climate and these shorts are cooler than any other I've tried. 2. They are thin and I can wear them under other clothes. Other products I've tried are thick…
