Excellent wireless modem

. This modem worked perfectly on both Windows 7 and Windows 8.1. I bought my Air Card from AT&T, connected through AT&T and was amazed at how quickly I connected to the internet. The download speed is very fast, there are no lags. It was a bit tricky to set up, just because my dealer installed the SIM card upside down. But after that was fixed this modem has exceeded my expectations and I am very happy with the modem and the performance. I'm glad I bought this modem, it saved me where there is…

So far, so good. on modems

This item was used to replace a failed ATT access point. I put in a SIM card from the access point and everything went fine! You need to install the connection manager that comes with the USB stick itself, which is very handy. I bought this for use in the Cradlepoint MBR1400. Remember that you need to download and install the Sierra Watcher software separately so you can configure the hotspot so that it doesn't turn off when disconnected from the computer. If you're only using it on a laptop…

Works great with 13 " MacBook Pro Mid 2012

Works great with my 13" MacBook Pro Mid 2012 (No Retina Display) and OS X 10.8.3. This happened AFTER installing and updating the version of AT&T Communication Manager software installed on the device. It did not work with the originally supplied Communication Manager. My Macbook Pro could not detect the communication part of the device. only built-in USB flash drive. Apparently I needed a different internet connection to update the AT&T software (over WiFi). Once up and running, it ROCKS. The…

Sierra Wireless 313U UNLOCKED

DO NOT PLACE THIS DEVICE INTO A LAPTOP UNTIL READ THIS IN FULL. CANADA) the software in the USB modem installed itself and the modem attempted to go online to download and install the latest ROGERS ISP client software and modem firmware updates from the Canadian carrier. To work around this, FIRST download and install the latest version of AT&T Communications Manager, then plug the device into your laptop. I use an MBR1000 hotspot so I had to install it on my laptop first. If you are using a…

Good Computer and accessories

Arrived quickly. Works perfectly. AT&T currently charges you $50 per month to add this to your service for 5 gigabytes of data. Requires a full-size (large) SIM card, so a size adapter may be required if you want to use an existing SIM card. The original old-school 2FF-sized simulator, new from Best Buy, is $30. Adapters for a Sim you already own cost around $7 or less. So far, the card is running at 3G speeds, but it handles YouTube videos with ease and works with no downloads required in the…

Fast speed in optimal conditions

Introduction. I recently bought a Momentum 4G (LTE) to upgrade my Shockwave 4G (HSPA+) without having to restart my AT&T contract. After doing my initial research, I saw a lot of good reviews for the Momentum 4G. Most of the claims related more to the service than the device itself. However, the main reason I bought the Momentum was that I got it for $150 less than AT&T was asking (no contract). I wasn't expecting much for the price but was quite surprised when I compared the speeds with my…
