Enhanced SIIG 1-Port USB Over IP (ID-DS0611-S1) Review

Easy to use and works well in one of two applications I've tried. In one case, I plugged a USB stick into the device and was able to install and use it remotely without any problems. In the second application, I connected the Arduino Uno to the device and attempted to access the Arduino remotely. This mission failed completely. We use Fujitsu fi-6130Z scanners quite a lot in our shop, but I've always been at a loss when looking for a good network scanner solution. We tried using All-in-One; But they just couldn't handle the volume and broke down pretty quickly, and dedicated network scanners cost a few thousand and still didn't work as well as Fujitsu's desktop scanners. I bought this device to turn the Realtek SDR chipset into a remote station. It doesn't work for this application. The block is visible but not connected. I've tested it with multiple webcams - some work, some don't. The streaming devices seem to hit the mark. Drivers are software that must run at startup, so it's not a seamless experience. That being said, the device was easy to install and worked great in tests with an external USB hard drive. I recommend this device for correct use.

It works fine, I can connect it to my computer as if it was directly connected via USB. I don't like to give a product 3 stars, but it doesn't live up to my expectations. I'm trying to connect this to a USB weather station. The display transfers data to the computer via USB, but I don't have a computer to place the display on. I thought it would work. It works out. Type. The USB server keeps disconnecting and getting lost on the network. The only recovery is to power cycle the SIIG device.
