The lube works but the applicator broke in transit.

Good product but the applicator probably shouldn't be attached to the bottle. The applicator is too fragile to transport when mounted on the vial. Mine arrived broken and full of grease.

High quality general purpose lubricant

This is an excellent all-conditions lubricant. I live in West Los Angeles and ride a lot on trails, roads and bike paths. I found that while the wax lube was quiet initially, it didn't last as long and the re-application process was cumbersome. I've never had good luck with dry lubes in the mixed conditions I've ridden, and traditional wet lubes attract a lot of dirt. Synergetics has become a real breakthrough for me. Easy to apply, lasts a long time, attracts little dirt and runs very quietly.

Good in dry weather, bad in wet weather

I live in Southern California and after following Silca's instructions for the initial lubrication I knew everything was fine. No durability was claimed. The chain had to be relubricated after 200 km. I applied new lube yesterday. Driving along the coast today we encountered a drizzle that lasted about an hour. Nothing heavy, just enough to get the streets wet. It was also wet enough to completely remove all of the lube from my chain! This lube is advertised as good in wet conditions. It's…
