I needed a silicone breaker to protect my pans and this is just the thing. It's small enough to use in all my pans and the perfect size for my single meals. It's also very easy to clean. I docked the star because shortly after purchasing it the silicone cracked at one of the bends exposing the metal underneath. This does not affect how I use the pusher and my pots seem fine, but be aware this may not be a long term product.

And how many of you grew up tapping the rim of the pan with a crusher? Well, the silicone doesn't extend far enough away from the cookware to protect the rim of the pot. Unusual, since an additional piece of silicone does not cost a penny.

Definitely small for children. The handle is not long enough to knead in the pan. But otherwise they are great. I like that it fits neatly in the drawer and works well for a small batch of potatoes. So 2 to 4 people. Anything else, you can get a bigger crush. I bought this one because the silicone leaked through the sides, which I felt was necessary to mash it up in a non-stick instead of a metal safety pot.

Of course bought for puree. It will probably crush or mix anything you have, it's really strong. I wanted the silicone coated end to not scratch my stainless steel mixing bowls and reduce metal-on-metal rattling while I was working. I chose this particular version from several similar options, mainly due to the reasonable price for a rarely used item.
