Large Sanding Block

Great product and price. I liked the one I ordered for wet sharpening so much that I bought two more. although one thing to consider when using it with water. The wet side will expand and slightly warp the block until it dries. Therefore, do not forget to turn the block regularly to ensure that the water absorption of the block is even. Works even better when dry sanding.

Pros
  • Compatible with Silverline Aluminum Oxide Rolls and Sheets

Really great quality!

Will not fall apart like a rubber sanding block. It delivers a firm, flat, and even print without digging or leaving marks like softwood or synthetic sanding blocks. If you want professional results for years to come, use cork. I still have some from my great-grandfather's shop. In use for over 150 years, only had to be converted twice. I still use them. These are generational tools for life, and they can be shaped to custom grind a casting and hold that shape for decades. Ignore the price, buy

Pros
  • For flat or contoured surfaces

  • Some bugs

Cool plugs for power and hand tools

If you've used a cork sanding block before then I don't need to explain the advantages of one over multiple 'artificial' pads such as plastic or even rubber. If you've never used them before, you'll quickly realize how excellent they are when doing medium to extra fine sanding jobs by hand. I've been using them since my woodworking class at school; I didn't need help finding someone else when I lost my 40-year-old in a move. The only issue I've had in the US is that they're about as rare as…
