Silverstone Tek 4-Port USB 3.0 HUB with Battery Charge 1.2 Compliance and Built-in Magnet (EP01B) Review

I purchased this hub hoping for super speed and it has been nothing but a headache. Thanks to my knowledge gained in practice, I can say that it is poorly constructed and often disconnects from my devices. The only positive aspect is that it is compliant with the latest battery regulations.

I don't stand a chance with this feature. Connected to the USB2 port, works perfectly. But that's not the goal. On the USB3 port it stops working (missing) when transferring files. It doesn't seem to support high data transfer rates with my computer. I have the same problem on another PC. So now I will try to understand this problem.

This is a good hub if you don't need the full 2 amps per port. The included power supply only supplies 5V 3A, so if you try to use more than that you will run into problems with the connected devices unless you replace the power supply with a better one.
