Fuses are very suitable for car AV installation

Good for low voltage and low current applications. Personally, I wouldn't use the fuses that came with it, they're really cheap. Save them for emergencies. TIP: Apply a little dielectric lubricant liberally if using in a humid environment.

Pros
  • Slim design

Choose something better than these

How hard is it to make a decent fuse holder? Apparently quite heavy. The lids don't fit at all. 10 minutes agony to catch one. The plastic is too hard. A more flexible material would be much better.

Pros
  • Great design
Cons
  • Big and bulky

Price and quality

Didn't complain about anything. The fuse holders are well made and large, flexible and strong. Also, there were way more fuses than I could wish for, and all powers from 1 to 30. Thanks for all the fuses! I highly recommend this purchase.

Pros
  • A lot of positive emotions
Cons
  • Low maintainability

Dangerous fuses included.

The fuse holders are of acceptable quality and should work well. I would throw away the fuses that came with it. They have no certification marks, no UL listing, no fuse type, nothing. With them you risk burning your car. Backups are not the place to save money on a project. The rating would have been five stars if the fuses simply hadn't been turned on.

Pros
  • Delivery was very quick
Cons
  • Something else

Coin toss - keep or return?

Should have known: quality not exactly outstanding. The fuse holder covers do not fit well. They are difficult to close unless you use the right technique and once closed they are not as secure. Certainly not waterproof. "The bitterness of low quality is remembered long after the appeal of low prices is forgotten."

Pros
  • Great price
Cons
  • A few little things

Heavy duty and well made. But it is difficult to put the top over the fuse.

At first they amazed me. Good solid construction. More than you need for multiple projects. However, they are well packaged with an open top. I couldn't close some of mine. It's a hard rubberized plastic and not very flexible. I know the lid is supposed to be tight, but these are way too tight. I doubt you will open it easily after some aging.

Pros
  • great product
Cons
  • upgradeable

Ok but the quality of the product is questionable.

Tab receptacle assemblies misaligned; Therefore, inserting a fuse can be very difficult. If you can imagine, you install them after you install the backup. The fuse blows and you have to unplug it, which is what you did to put in a spare fuse. I'm not sure if they are all made this way, but you are essentially forced to attach the fuse at an angle to the wire line to insert it.

Pros
  • Weight
Cons
  • Not sure

Fuse base consists of 2-pin plugs, works, inserting a fuse is not easy

Fuse base consists of 2-pin plugs Inserting a fuse is very difficult. Therefore 4 stars. However, the build quality is really good and the product photos clearly show that the connector is a 2-pin connector, so I can't get too worked up about it. I would definitely buy them again in the future, even if I will grumble a bit when inserting the fuse.

Pros
  • Ideal for outdoor activities
Cons
  • Difficult to say

The caps do not fit well in the fuse holder body and are not waterproof.

Lids do not fit at all and are not waterproof. Definitely inferior quality to the fuse holder I bought at the local hardware store where the cover snaps easily and firmly into place giving me peace of mind that no water can get in. These caps need to be put on and wobble. When on, they jut out on the sides, leaving gaps where the rubber cap over the fuse hits to prevent moisture ingress. The caps just don't fit the fuse holder housings. They'll probably work well in a dry environment, which is…

Pros
  • Comfortable to use
Cons
  • old
