Someone returned these and filled the box with roofing nails

Someone returned this and filled the box with roofing nails This is not a verification of the screws as the return was sold without verification big disappointment

Pros
  • Fasteners
Cons
  • Cord is shorter than others

Forget about lagging screws and double drilling in decking. No pilot holes are required as it will gnaw through the wood without splitting it. I used 8 inch lengths to block and attach the railing to my deck. The head of the screw is pressed into the wood to ensure a good flush.

Pros
  • Industrial & Scientific
Cons
  • No Instructions

High tension when using pilot holes (7/32 ")

Using 3", 4", 5" and 6" to fix my 700 sq ft. ft (25 yrs) ) roof deck at high stress and stress points, especially when pulling sister deck and roof frame to 6 x 6 joists (large washer head helps a lot). I always punch all the screw holes (takes longer but doesn't split). I use a 7/32 drill bit for these screws; I found 13/64" too strong and 15/64" too loose - I rotated the pair while testing to find the correct diameter, but 7/32" worked perfectly for me. It pulled single, sister - (and triple)

Pros
  • Wood Screws
Cons
  • Can't remember but there was something
