I think you get what you pay for. This item should be advertised as a toy. Batteries will drain quickly, it won't stop properly when the spool is full, or it will stop before the spool is full. It's very uneven in the way it winds the coils leaving them uneven which drives my machine crazy. I'm sending it back and buying the more industrial version for twice the price. Bought because the bobbin winder on the machine I borrowed from my mother stopped working and needed to be taken to a repair shop.
