Good product for radio

The radio works well but they are usually used for racing. The headphones sent do not fit in the helmet for long, they should be sold with a better headset.

Pros
  • cool product
Cons
  • hard to tell

Works well in CB and talkback radios

Radio works well. I like that you can save a few different feeds. The only downside is that we use at least 1 AAA battery a night.

Pros
  • Works great for me

  • Weight

Junk, Junk: Portable A/V

Got this at the last race of the season and it worked great. Now a friend wants to use it for winter racing and now it doesn't work. Don't waste your money. Buy race receiver, spend more money.

Not the best choice for CB and talkback radios

Bought for mud racing. The headphones aren't the best and the volume isn't very loud, even with a helmet on. Hopefully another headphone will help. Highly recommend buying the more expensive version if your car is noisier. Except doing what he had to do.

Pros
  • Excellent overall performance
Cons
  • Ugly packaging

Wasn't loud enough but then had to pay to have it retuned!

It looked like a good deal so we gave it a try, but the sound wasn't loud enough to meet our needs. I then had to pay over $7 for return shipping with a label. I have never had to pay for shipping when returning an item as long as I have the Seller/Amazon label printed out. I also think $7 is very expensive for such a small, lightweight part! Don't hesitate to buy it at all.

Update: Worked well for one race

Update: I contacted the manufacturer and they asked me to send it. You checked the product and found the problem. Once the problem was discovered they couldn't fix it so they sent a new one for free. Customer service was excellent and well communicated. I bought it for cup races. It was a difficult task, but I made it. The first race we went to was great. In the second race it worked until the very end, where the noise-cancellation limit stopped working, then the buttons stopped working. I had…

I liked it, it was very clear, con ectilna and small.

I liked it, very clear connection and small size to get out of the way. but I don't like that there is no leak in the settings, that they cannot be accidentally changed. When I put on my firefighter gloves I go to put them on my seat belts and I accidentally hit the buttons and they change channels just before I start the race. The batteries also have to be changed between races and last one night

Pros
  • CB and talkback radios
Cons
  • Can't remember
