Ideal for warming up milk for children in the morning!

I was a bit skeptical about these cups (I bought 2, red and pink) because I didn't buy them for soups but as a kind of transitional milk cup for my little daughter. She's used to drinking milk from bottles and we couldn't find anything practical that could be thrown in the microwave in the morning and immediately given to a sleepy baby to hold. However, these cups served their purpose. They're easy to microwave, great for milk, and easy for your child to hold and drink through a straw. Haven't…

Nothing special about glasses and drinking utensils

Suitable for heating soup, but other plastic containers will do. This one isn't airtight, but if you're just getting it from the microwave to the table you're good to go; NOT for "on the go" when you don't want a mess. I usually reheat Campbell's standard condensed soups in it without thinning them so they're never filled to the brim. It's handy to have a handle, but overall this mug isn't a cosmic improvement over a standard bowl or mug. Another annoying note: the instructions specifically say

Good for a quick snack

I bought this product because I have been using a heavy ceramic soup mug without a lid for a while. After reheating in the microwave, I had to clean up anything that had popped or spilled out of the mug. This mug's lid solved that problem, and the contents of the mug heated up much faster due to the thin plastic construction. About 3/4 of soup recipes are tomato based, and curry or other options like beef stew or dumpling chicken seem to have fallen by the wayside. no problem currently. The…

Does what it says on the tin

Firstly, most of the negative reviews I've seen don't seem to understand what this product is for - it's not a thermos. You don't reheat the soup, then pop it in your bag and take it somewhere a few hours later β€” it's a microwavable mug with a lid. The handle prevents you from touching the sides of the hot bowl, while the lid protects the microwave from splattering and reduces cooking time. If you have to go somewhere after cooking in the microwave, e.g. For example, bringing the soup back to…

Holes after one use

ok I picked this up while shopping the other day (so different colour; it's the same brand and I had to check the bottom to make sure they were the same size as this one product), based on all the great reviews, this would be the perfect item for packing lunch for work. Except. it's not like this. Far from it. In terms of packaging, it was great! All those questions people ask about how airtight it is wasn't a problem, I poured in a whole can of chicken soup, sealed the vent and lid and stuffed

I have bought about a dozen "System" microwave containers and use them regularly with no problems. I've noticed a number of very negative reviews of these products; even from a native New Zealand company. Most of them concern: 1. non-tight (fill with soup or other liquids and carry in lunch bags where they will leak) 2. deform or bubble when used in the microwave. If you consider these products, there are some features. I think you should consider: 1. Sistema microwave containers (mostly red…
