SK Hand Tool 18017 Linesman Review

Based on my experience as a professional mechanic, I would not recommend this hand tool for automotive use. The grips are uncomfortable and provide little to no grip, making it difficult to maintain a secure hold on the tool. While the cutting blades are sharp, the overall build quality is lacking and not worth the investment.

The nicest 7 inch pliers I have ever used. I usually use 9 inch lineman pliers, but sometimes I need a smaller size. This product is well made and a little thicker than most. It feels heavy and feels good in the hand, all important qualities for a smaller size. I am impressed with the quality of SK and will buy more SK tools.

Great 7 inch pliers. Excellent quality tool, well assembled. I mainly use these pliers for twisting wires. Not as heavy as a full size linesman. This 7-inch model won't replace a full-size linesman in your tool bag, but if you're going up and down stairs and want to lighten your bag, it's great. 4 stars because of the price. But then again. I haven't found a single 7" lineman to match these SK 7" linesmen.
