cut well - power and hand tools

I got lucky. I thought the car I had was just without the pin. I thought they were blades without pins. It turned out that it had removable adapters and pen blades could be put on it. so I wasn't wrong. Hooray! these cut great. I am very happy. Have fun with my first scroll saw.

I then cut a curve about 4" long out of very dry 5/8" thick pine or fir, definitely not "hardwood", but in Arizona wood that is 1 year or older will dry out and become stiff. I tried 15 and 18.5 TPI discs and was very disappointed. Understandable. Both types of saws became dull and stopped cutting within about an inch of being…
