Review on 🔪 SKIL 80181: Enhance Precision with 18-Piece Scroll Saw Blade Set by Jason Hood

I love that you have a choice of 15, 18.5 and 20 TPI and the price was good. With 18.5 TPI blades carving curves in 3/16 inch thick plywood, they worked like a champ. I then cut a curve about 4" long out of very dry 5/8" thick pine or fir, definitely not "hardwood", but in Arizona wood that is 1 year or older will dry out and become stiff. I tried 15 and 18.5 TPI discs and was very disappointed. Understandable. Both types of saws became dull and stopped cutting within about an inch of being cut. I will say that no blade broke. I will try other brands of blades and update my review of the WEN 3920 scroll saw.
