Perfect for my old HD77 ski saw that was given to me by a contractor friend 15 years ago. I rarely used it as the cord was badly damaged. Very well made, assembly was easy, fits perfectly. I also changed the worm gear oil and installed a new blade; looked like new now.

Cable installation takes 10 minutes with a set of security screwdrivers. I used three or four stars to remove all the screws. Anyone who can install an outlet can install this power cord. It's about as easy as electrical repairs you can do. This is an OEM part. So unless you cut the cord like I did, it will last the life of the tool.

I cut the cord in half at work the other day. I've repaired partially cut wires before, but felt this one needed replacing. Make no mistake when buying replacement parts from the manufacturer. The cable was surprisingly expensive considering my skil saw cost about $100, so $20 for a cable isn't what I expected. This cord fits perfectly and is very easy to replace. I took a picture of all the connections with my phone before claiming to remove all the screws and was glad I did. Routing the various wires over and under each other is critical to reassembly. It is recommended to remove and replace one wire at a time.
