Good product suitable for fitness equipment

Good product that protects the lawn and can easily be used over a larger mat. The two tiers of artificial grass mimic the fairway and rough while the long and short tee shots are great for hitting the driver or the fairway. Started to show signs of wear after the first few times, but I think that's due to the bumps that come with playing with the iron.

Pros
  • Great product
Cons
  • So-so

Great Practice: Golf

Love it! It helps to have a safety net when you're short on space or don't want to lose balls, but it works really well. Yes, some of the longer lawns come out every now and then, but not enough that I really want to complain. Would definitely recommend to anyone who enjoys golf and doesn't want to go to the driving range every time they want to hit the ball.

Pros
  • Good product for the price
Cons
  • Appearance

I shouldn't even give this product 1 star, it's too much. The product was what I ordered but when I hit it with my Iron 5 on the first hit the mat broke. This is a piece of S. I would not recommend anyone to buy this product, you will lose your money. I've attached photos so you can see what I'm talking about.

Pros
  • Stylish and modern design
Cons
  • unreliable

I love this rug! on hitting mats

I keep this in my practice room (along with some very very soft plastic balls I found at a large golf supply store). It's small, which is great for indoor use (many rugs are 4 feet wide). The mat can of course be used for full swings, but I use it to practice serves and hooks. Using this mat and plastic balls daily after practice has greatly improved my short game. I like this mat. My handicap went down in three shots, mostly on the green.

Pros
  • Sturdy construction
Cons
  • Available in white only

Disappointed with Hitting Mats

Out of the Box I was very excited about this. Looked fantastic and I couldn't wait to use it. I don't have a net so I wanted to use it for flop shots, pitches, chips and all short play practice without hitting holes everywhere. When first used, the coarse grass fell off the card. I say that because I've only made 20-yard passes and only hit about 10 shots. Terrible product. Now I'm trying to glue it again. Keep you posted if I reach for a nail gun or worse. upset

  • Multiple Competitors

Works in tight spaces

First off, I'm a pretty dubious golfer. I was a little hesitant to order this due to some complaints of the mat separating from the base. I've used this for days with some pretty bad pieces and haven't had any issues with the mat coming off. However, I am a bit irritated by the green plastic that builds up on the club head after repeated swings. I'm not sure there's a way, so it's not really the carpet's fault. I've used this with styrofoam golf balls and regular golf irons.

Pros
  • Satisfied so far
Cons
  • Almost never

Middle of the road, good! Does what it says on the tin

I bought this mat with my new Quikster network. Since it was only $25 I wasn't expecting commercial quality. I wasn't willing to shell out $75-$150 for a large pillow. This one does what it says, although it will miss the move if you place it squarely on the grass. I'm going to attach this rug to a small square of 1/4" plywood and use it like that. I went to the PGA supermarket today and did a little research on the commercial rugs they sell so I go to the big orange store and was able to build

Pros
  • One year trial
Cons
  • Updates available

I've read very negative reviews about the Launch Pad. I could change my mind but this works great for me! I have a small indoor practice area and got to a place where I could hit everything well because there are no rough spots on the carpet. The launch pad gives a more realistic feel, and I've already found a few things I could improve on my swing. It's also nice to have rubber tees to practice teeing off with my Iron 7. Contrary to some other reviews, I don't think the Launch Pad is cheaply…

Pros
  • Great for outdoor activities
Cons
  • Not sure
