🚲 Ensure Dry and Clean Rides with SKS B53 Commuter 2 Bicycle Fender Set Review

Mounted on Century Pro DX with 700x40C tires. I was expecting the seatstay stay to be snug, and all I had to do was notch the fender about 3/8" on either side to avoid tire chafing. I should have taken the advice and put a tarp under the bike, but I didn't. t, and spent a lot of time looking for a nut. It would be nice to have a few spares just in case. I've seen hardware kits elsewhere but they cost about $16. It may be better to buy another complete set of fenders. , for parts. ;)

Excellent wings. The quality is excellent, I took them for a 27.5" wheel and they were just perfect. I would say they are not the easiest to install and not the most difficult. This takes about an hour and you'll have to cut a little into the metal bars supporting the fenders if you want them to be ok. I definitely recommend it. If you are looking at inches these fenders should fit 27" 1.5" wide tyres. The 700c rim has a bead diameter of 622mm, while the 27" rim has a bead diameter of 630mm - a negligible difference when it comes to mudguards.
