Boosts steering on big tires

Includes 2 steering stabilizers (shock absorbers). The first replaces the factory stabilizer. The second is clamped onto the tie rod and tie rod with U-brackets. It didn't quite fit my 2005 TJ. Fasteners used to attach the first stabilizer bar to the steering assembly did not match. The bolt was too thick. I got an 8 1/2-13 3.5" screw from Lowes to replace. You will also need a metal sleeve that fits into the sleeve. Only one socket is included (for the other end), but I had one from my old…

Pros
  • Absorbs vibrations from big tires
Cons
  • Almost never

Glad I was ready, otherwise I wouldn't be here.

Bushings are supplied without bushings. It's a good thing I was ready, otherwise I wouldn't have a mobile car. Very disappointed. Unnecessary error. Now I just hope the product lasts?!?!

Pros
  • Absorbs vibration from large tires
Cons
  • Modern

Easy installation, took about an hour

Easy installation, took about an hour. BUT I will tell you that the instructions say to turn the steering wheel straight, but on a 2003 Jeep TJ you have to turn it a little to the left to get to one of the nuts to remove the old one and put the new one on. After that you can turn them right back. You got rid of the shimmy.

Pros
  • Alleviates the rigidity of the highway
Cons
  • Long delivery time

Easy install and keeps my jeep on the road

Very happy with the stabilizer bar kit so far. Replaced a 4 year old Rancho stabilizer bar on my 2004 TJ. A lot of people don't like the dual stabilizer system, but it helped me with my deadly wobble problem. The next steps will be new control levers to replace the factory levers that are likely responsible for the wobble of death. The sway bar will keep my daily driver on the road until that next project is complete. Easy installation after driving all screws with PB Blaster.

Pros
  • Good value and worthwhile investment
Cons
  • Legacy model
