Skywarn Tornado Bumper Sticker Window Review

So the sticker looks great. However, it was sent in an envelope and was a little wrinkled and bent in transit. I'm not very happy with it, but I think it will still look good. It must be transported between two boxes or something hard to avoid damaging it.

I tried to apply it several times but it is so thin and flimsy that it kept wrinkling and huge bubbles. Attempting to remove and reattach it caused it to stretch and deform. Eventually I gave up and decided to throw it away and it left sticky marks all over my car.

When you took SkyWarn courses in the 80's, NWS gave you 2 stickers after you completed your classroom training. Gone are those days. I still go to class 30 years later and was delighted to find a Cat's Eye Tornado decal in stock. No longer free, but that's the price of progress.

This logo decal is instantly recognizable to those trained by the Skywarn National Weather Service. For letting passers-by know what you're up to when you're parked looking up at the sky, or just to say you're proud of the weather, these stickers are excellent. Mine held up well on the back of my car, exposed to the sun, cold, moisture and car wash with little if any noticeable fading.

The sticker is the perfect size for your car. It's a bit flimsy, but wearing it over something that's not entirely flat helps. It sticks very well, so take your time applying it. It also complements my NWS sticker next to it. It helps me keep the police from wondering why I'm sitting somewhere in the dark when a thunderstorm is brewing. Will definitely be buying more for my next truck.

Put this on my car a few months ago (eight months I think?) and another on my laptop after getting my NWS meteorology certification. I got the smaller size and they both held up great! It has a slightly shiny surface. So if you keep touching or rubbing it like my laptop because of the laptops and textbooks in my backpack, the sticker will get a little scratched.
