🍓 Green Strawberry Egg Slicer - Ortarco Boiled Egg Cutter with Stainless Steel Wire Review

I was slicing soft strawberries with this egg slicer, it came loose from the connection and the wires broke. The title and listing mentioned I could chop strawberries, but that doesn't work as advertised. Another point, the color is very ugly when you see it in person. I will return this one. I would not recommend this egg slicer to anyone.

Not well made. Although it says it's stainless steel, it doesn't look like fishing line. I used to have stainless steel and it was very strong and durable. I used it 3 times only on fresh strawberries and stretched and bent all the lines. The lid is also very delicate, it doesn't fall apart for anything.

I made a large batch of egg salad - this slicer worked great with the first 3 dozen eggs but I noticed some of the wires started to buckle/misalign. Not enough to cause any serious problems, but enough that the slicer would sometimes not fully close due to the wires catching on the plastic caps. Concerned about the build quality, but so does any other cheap egg slicer...

Arrived; I washed it, and then made a mistake - I tried to cut strawberries. Halfway the top part popped out of its socket. I managed to put it back in, adjust my technique and move on. After five strawberries, the "wires" sagged so much that they could only squeeze a millimeter into the fruit. Luckily I didn't try to cut a hard boiled egg! This product is plastic waste. look elsewhere

The egg slicer consists of three components: 1) ten wires for slicing the hard-boiled egg, 2) the upper part with the wires, and 3) the lower part that holds the egg while slicing. On my first use it broke in less than five seconds. One of the wires was completely severed while the other two wires were pulled out of the top half of the cutting machine. I have never bought anything in my life, no matter the price, that was so useless, especially on first use.

This small egg slicer serves its purpose, but is not the most durable. This is the second one I've received and it comes in 2 parts again. It wasn't dropped or anything, it just breaks and splits into 2 parts every time the egg is cut. Eggs are so easy to cut, I wouldn't even try anything like strawberries. I think this will only result in stunted strawberries. I hate to say it, but it's a lemon. I'll just keep it because with a little manipulation it works, but it could be better.

I JUST received it on 01/24/2021! THE FIRST THING I CAN SAY. I guess I'm lucky I have 9 wires left, considering "I think" the 10th wire went into the hard boiled egg, ON THE SECOND DAY! The upper part with 9 wires constantly moved away from the base. I do NOT recommend this kitchen appliance! If you are an older person like me, I almost felt like I was on a hidden camera. Anyway, I thought it was a joke because everything went wrong with her! Well I think you get what you pay for!
