Description of Garmin Fenix 5 Plus Sapphire Smartwatch with Wi-Fi, NFC - Black
- Second Garmin watch model after Fenix 3hr. And definitely satisfied. 1. When used as a fitness tracker with a chest strap for jogging and a tourist navigator for mountain hikes in harsh climatic conditions - the best gadget for the end of 2022-beginning of 2022; 2. Simply indestructible watch (durable thoughtful materials); 3. Parameters quite pleasant for visual perception (for Fenix 5 plus - 47 mm) - they look harmoniously under a shirt in office clothes. 4. In plus versions, all models have 16 GB of memory - the ability to download topographic maps of the world and 2022 + music; 5. Contactless payment via Garmin Pay by most major 2022 banks (Gazprombank is not connected yet).
- A multifunctional sports gadget for $750 in 2022 is a product for a very narrow market segment. The advantages of a gadget are not the main factor of choice for most people. However, this only emphasizes the uniqueness of this work of engineering. After 2 months, minor shortcomings in the use of Bluetooth with an iPhone were revealed. The ability to manage the playlist on the phone through the Clock regularly disappears. Only after rebooting the Bluetooth on the phone does the problem go away. Perhaps this is a problem with Bluetooth on iPhones, although the connection with the clock is not lost, the Clock appears in the Bluetooth connection list. The second problem came out unexpectedly after the ate - payment for hours on Garmin Pay stopped going through. It looks like a purely software bug.
- - appearance, design. They look very cool and go with almost any style of clothing. - a large number of types of training, the ability to configure alerts, etc. - the accuracy of measuring the parameters of the distance traveled, the pace of running. - garmin-pay, contactless payment - the ability to download mp3 files, listen to music / podcasts without having to take your phone with you - fairly good battery life - up to 7 days
- - very strong errors in measuring the pulse. For example, at rest, it can show a heart rate of 100, when in reality the heart rate is not more than 70. The error increases with an increase in heart rate, i. E. during training, it shows exorbitant 180-190, when in reality it is no more than 150. - not very convenient scheme of work with the built-in player. It is required either to install separate applications from external media services (many of which do not work in the 2022), and then use their music / podcast database, where there is a rather limited choice, and then inconvenient synchronization either via wi-fi or via usb- lace. Or another option (which I use) is to upload pre-downloaded audio files to the clock via usb. I would like to have the most “seamless” integration with the same iTunes / Apple Music via a smartphone, bypassing the need to interact with a computer. - somewhat backward graphics on the display (not high resolution). At a time when other manufacturers offer displays with high-quality graphics (where watches are much cheaper), this model has “pixel squares a la Tetris”. Somehow you do not expect such archaism on a watch for this money. Hence the "scanty" covers for watches. - the function of the maps on this model is somehow useless, in my opinion. The level of detail of the maps allows you to roughly understand where you are, well, that's all. If we are talking about the area outside the city, then it will not be possible to turn on the "satellite" mode, as in the popular 2022 service, in order to navigate at least some topography. There are only man-made streets/roads. Well, I don't need it at all.
- Clear work of all functions, except for working with headphones.
- Not compatible with all bluetooth headphones Price Support Screen
