Did not work! for accessories and consumables

I received this remote control to replace my SE-R0305. He turned on the device but I couldn't press the channel button which my husband wants. Also not like in the photo. Also NO INSTRUCTIONS.

Works right out of the box, just insert 2 AAA batteries

Worked straight away without programming on an old Toshiba TV with built in DVD player. Finally managed to get to the TV setup screen and program the channels.

The TV saved on accessories and consumables

We had an old Toshiba TV/DVD combo. We upgraded the TV and the old Toshiba almost broke because the remote was lost for years and only worked with a wired remote. I suggested a new remote and put the TV in a room with a treadmill (no outlet but you can put a DVD in). This remote saved the old Toshiba. Worked immediately after putting the batteries in. And we're glad the treadmill has a real screen instead of a tiny phone screen to see what's going on.

Everything works except for the enter button, which was the main objective when we bought it.

Good Point: This remote worked right away with my little old Toshiba flat screen TV and DVD. If you're in TV/HDMI mode (e.g. with Roku) and want to switch to a DVD player, press the Enter/Zoom button and you can select the input you want. However, if you are in DVD Player mode and press the Input/Zoom button, you will get an enlarged picture and will not be able to change the input.

Works right out of the box

I needed a remote control for 2 used TVs I just bought and it's certainly easier to get a universal remote than trying to get an original remote for an old Toshiba -model (2008/ 9). The feedback was encouraging and now I'm adding mine to the group. Insert your batteries, point to the TV and press ON. you watch tv I have checked the functionality of the buttons and can only report that I could not use the EJECT button for the TV/DVD combo. But the TV has a built-in button on the side so nothingโ€ฆ
