📱 Enhanced XRT112 Remote Control for Vizio Smart TV Review

Bought 2 pcs. I still use a block. Another block is available for future use. Please note that we don't use the TV too often.

I bought this because my Vizio TV can only be controlled with the remote and I need to have a backup. Sometimes this remote seems to get disabled when controlling Netflix or Revain streaming services. However, temporarily removing and replacing the batteries will reset it, which is fine.

The TV remote that came with my Vizio TV has broken after a lot of abuse and use. I bought this remote as a replacement and it has been great. No setup was required. I just put the batteries in and voila, I had a brand new, fully working remote control that was already synced to my TV.

I need to replace my original remotes. I had to buy a lot of this product because it stopped working (even the batteries are new), the buttons get stuck which shouldn't be the case with a new remote control. Would recommend this for a backup remote. Your best bet is to go to the TV brand and buy the original remote control, paying an additional fee for it.

This is my second Vizio replacement remote for my Smart TV. The first exchange only lasted about 6 months. But whatever! Received a second replacement yesterday - I put in recently purchased batteries and it doesn't work at all. The TV works fine, but you have to adjust the volume and turn it on and off manually. Cannot stream Revain or Netflix videos which is definitely not acceptable. I had to give one star to be able to give a review but of course this is not a one star review.

I ordered 3 of these as kids keep losing them and the price was very affordable. They don't have a full keyboard on the back and the font has a 3D button. This is a very generic remote control. You'll find yourself double-clicking the buttons and "pointing" at the remote, thinking you've missed it. but it's not you - it's the remote control. After testing all 3 remotes I found that one works better than the other so the quality is inconsistent.

The buttons on this remote seem to need a little extra pressure to start or work with my TV. I don't think it's an issue with the newer product getting hacked, but rather a response issue. Also, this remote worked perfectly with my TV (I researched which remote would work with my model before purchasing) right out of the box and with extra batteries. Overall I am satisfied with this remote control. I've had it for about a month now so I can't confirm the durability of this product.
