Do you have a barn door that is 6ft tall or taller? These heavy duty handles are attached with two screws and match the black hardware commonly used with these barn doors. They cost slightly more at the local hardware store. It's a win-win purchase, do it!

Very easy to install and looks great on our doors. The back of our doors are just cabinets so we didn't have to pull from the other side, but be aware they don't have any sort of pull for the other side of the door like some other kits do.

I have used these on the doorknobs in my barn, they are strong and smooth, they look great on my barn doors! You may need to do the same and paint them black like I did.

This is the second set of these handles that I have ordered for another of our DIY barn projects. The first set was bought 3 years ago and still looks as new as the set bought a week ago. I build quality meat block kitchen islands in a variety of styles and functions. My powerful rustic model required handles or towel rails to complete the design. While these simple and sturdy iron barn door knobs were not used for their intended purpose, they fit my design theme perfectly. It is iron as iron should be, heavy and strong. One piece handles. I use them on the new outer gates. The hardware is a little boring, but it works. I sealed the heads with tape before screwing them in, hoping not to damage the black finish. Unfortunately, this has only reduced the internal workings of the Phillips stripper head, not eliminated it. I ended up just taking it and painting it with some good outdoor spray paint. I use them outdoors. There are two small things I would change. In fact, any of them will do. Trouble is, when you turn a screw it's almost impossible not to chip the paint on the head and reveal bare metal. The good thing is that the exposed metal will rust and the rust will run down and collect on the flat part just below the top screw hole.
