Hardly used, glad I did!

I randomly ordered these thinking they were B&W 100 but black which I've had for 10 years. To be honest I was disappointed to find that they use a different double locking mechanism and almost never wear them on a belt. After a few months of use, I prefer the lever lock over the traditional 100 style. You don't need to take out the key for the double lock, which is very convenient. I wear mine open top on the front of my duty device, they show a little rusting around the pins and serial number…

Great handcuffs - sporty

Considering there are no perfect handcuffs I have to say they come pretty close. These were my favorite cuffs all winter and most likely will remain so. You can block them twice in the dark or with gloves. No more fumbling around in your pocket for a double lock key. They look sharp and as far as I can tell they can take a hit. They've been frozen, dunked in snow, regularly treated with Lysol and hand sanitizer, banged on my car's plastic seats, and a man thinking he was the Hulk tried to break

Pros
  • Comfortable to wear
Cons
  • Not as thick as other handcuffs

Great handcuffs so far

I've only had them for a few weeks but I really like them. The process of double locking objects has become so simple and easy that I wish I had known earlier. I haven't broken them yet but they seem to be as strong as the other 8 handcuffs I have. The lever clasp was tight on both pairs I received. This was to be expected. They sat on the shelf for who knows how long. I sprayed a dry lube spray on the internals, lever and pivot points and ran the bolt for a bit. I pulled the lever down hard…

I suspect mine is defective

I work in law enforcement and bought two of these cuffs specifically for their lever closure system which would make double cuffs easier. I oiled the cuffs and worked with them for a few minutes to feel their stiffness. All four lever locks (two per cuff) are so tight I can't get them to latch with two fingers. They are so stiff that it hurts to press on them and my nails break when I try to hook the lever this way. I use my cuff wrench or the edge of my key to depress the lever anyway. I…

S&W M&P Excellence Accessory

Like their pistols, these M&P handcuffs are just as good as the gold standard handcuffs (S&W M100), PLUS they're easier to use. When I was a correctional officer in Missouri I was given S&W handcuffs and it was the only thing we ever used in the entire state and they worked great. BUT . Engaging that double lock was a bit of a chore, since you had to insert that little pin on the back of the handcuff key (or the tip of a pen) into that tiny hole in the handcuffs. Not easy, even when dealing…
