I am very happy with this purchase

This little stone works very well. I have used an Arkansas sharpener for many years and recently purchased a Work Sharp combi sharpener and pocket sharpener. For me it was a step forward in terms of sharpness. I'm not a grinding expert at all. Now that I have this little diamond whetstone I can sharpen almost all of my EDCs. There are about a dozen of them. I am very happy with this purchase. Cutting paper and card is now more fun than ever!

Smith's products are excellent

I recommend using one of the Smith's Pocket Pal sharpeners for field use, tackle boxes etc and also recommend this stone for your knives for the ultimate sharpness . I like them because they do a good job and don't cost you an arm and a leg. They are compact, easy to carry, easy to hold and not bulky like many other larger stones. The perfect tool when you are in the woods and need to utilize the space. I have found that with a small amount of grinding oil this stone will last a long time. It…

Fast cutting, well made, comfortable design, easy to carry

This item is well made and serves its purpose. Designed for sharpening fishing hooks (long thin groove) and small pointy tools (small continuous grit) as well as knives and other cutting tools. I sharpened a couple of fish hooks and a bait knife easily and effectively in no time (actually, be careful not to use too much force when sharpening, as diamonds cut aggressively - at least right out of the box).
