I needed a way to reduce/block drafts coming in through the mailbox on my porch. While the product is designed to create a "pocket" for collecting mail as it passes through the slot, I only installed one side over the slot. The bag falls nicely to the floor and definitely keeps drafts out. I have light gray walls and the gray color of the bag goes well with it.

I just installed a mailbox in my garage door and the first thing I noticed was a draft going through it. I glued a piece of fabric to it and it helped. Then I found this product online and voila! I solved two problems, one draft and carefully catching all the mail that was strewn on the floor. One thing I would change is to remove the large snail image from the front. Lay it on its back. Keep the front clean.

The perfect solution for a garage door mailbox I just installed today. There was a very sticky adhesive on the velcro so the setup looked solid enough. The materials appear to be of good quality. Looks great, although that's not so important for a garage. I received my first mail delivery in Sacca this afternoon and it had a couple of envelopes and a couple of catalogues. It's easy enough to extract the post without having to separate the velcro.

This catcher really is a great invention. The only problem is that once a week I get an insert from the newspaper and a bunch of unnecessary catalogs that fill them up very quickly. I don't think it will keep post for the week I'm gone, but I'll know better in a few weeks. I've been using it for about a month now and I really like it. No more wet mail 😊. Very well made and high quality material. I purchased this item for a garage door mailbox. In winter I drive snow with my tires and 99% of the time I send mail, mostly it's just junk mail but sometimes I get mail that I really need :). Sakk with a snail saves mail! That works much better than sealing the letter box with a piece of bubble wrap in winter. The cloth bag covers the mail slot and does a good job of keeping cold air out of the hallway (you can feel the cold air if you touch the bag, but it doesn't get into the room). And the bag catches all mail nice and tidy (and you can get it easily, too).
