The Part That Saved Christmas

Great replacement for the original product - just beware of retractable cords.

This was the perfect replacement for the bottom heating element in our GE JBP30W0B4WW line. It's the exact same shape and size. Installation would be easy except this article is not at fault at all. The electrical leads to which the element is connected normally run only within the back wall of the oven. You can pull them forward so they go into the oven when you pull the element up and out, but that puts stress on the wires that want to be pulled back behind the wall. Don't let them! Have a…

Easy to install: oven parts and accessories

After understanding the design of the heating element and oven, it was very easy to install. You will need a 1/4 screwdriver to remove the two screws that attach the element to the back wall inside the oven and the five screws that attach the rear center wall. You have to move the slab away from the wall to work on it.
