Great tool for hobbyist techies

When I tried this Single Board Computer, I was blown away by its simplicity and FUNCTIONALITY. The small size of this device allows you to easily create IoT projects, it's compatible with all types of computers, and it's easy to operate. While it can handle most projects with ease it may not be powerful enough for more significant applications .Overall, a great device for hobbyist techies looking for an affordable and convenient option..

Pros
  • Affordable, compact, easy to operate, compatible with all computers.
Cons
  • May not be powerful enough for advanced applications.

Couldn't get it to work with WLED and external power supply.

I bought these boards for my WLED project. With a 5m LED strip I had to use an external power supply to power the board and lights (those small boards just can't power that many lights via USB). After setting up the wled I was able to get it working with just a few lights on the cord and a USB power supply, but once I set it to use the entire strip and hooked up an external power supply, it thrived the standby mode. emergency loop. I never found out why, but I tried another ESP8266 board and it

Pros
  • single board computer
Cons
  • operating speed
