These are heavy duty rivets and require a professional riveter to install. I have used my Marson Model 39010 Big Daddy Riveter with excellent results.

I needed rivets to attach the stop blocks to the boom. Steel would not withstand salt water. These blocks must withstand significant lateral loads, and typical aluminum rivets can loosen over time. I ordered these for the interior of a truck I was working on and needed 1/8" fasteners. While waiting for fasteners, I moved on to other parts of the truck. Getting back to the interior, these 1/8" mounts were more like 1" mounts, even though the packaging said 1/8". They were utterly useless, and by then it was too late to go back.
