Not 3/8 16 as described

I am guessing they are about 3/8 18. You unscrew the 3/8 16 bolt about 4 turns then tighten. Very unfortunate; They seem strong but cannot be used with 3/8 16 bolts.

Pros
  • Quality construction
Cons
  • Not automatic

Better than originally built

We bought a used desk from Facebook Marketplace and the legs were loose. I checked them out and found that two of these types of support are broken. I found them, ordered and replaced the ones that were on the table. They are thicker and better finished than on the original table. You must survive the table.

Pros
  • Sturdy construction
Cons
  • Questionable purchase for the elderly

Exactly as described. The perfect replacement.

This is an exact replacement for the fastener that screws the decorative posts into the foot end of my bed. The screw holes are perfect for screwing with drywall screws. The thread size fits my 5/16 18 bedpost (head thread). The item looks well made and is thick enough not to break if someone hits the bedpost.

Pros
  • Great for a small home
Cons
  • Some bugs

Fits one large 3/8 "-16 screw

This product was perfect for my intended use. The post on my bed frame came loose because one of the Brad Hole T-Nuts broke. I went on to the next one Hardware store and they didn't have one.I found I needed one that fits a rough 3/8"-16 bolt and it was perfect and a good price. It was too thick and I had to put it in a pole but that was all I needed and now my bed is fixed!

Pros
  • This is amazing
Cons
  • Nothing here

Heavy Duty Fastener Fastener

I received these for assembling a collapsible workbench for my carpentry workshop. They were inserted into 3/4 size MDF boxes to screw diagonal posts and a solid oak panel. The 1/2" hole was too tight, so I wiggled a little, widened the hole a bit, and then tightened the nuts into the holes on the using a 3/8" bolt, nut, washer and two other side 9/16" wrenches. .Easy no-brainer. They fit so snugly on the MDF I didn't bother to screw in the flange. Very solid!

Pros
  • Confident
Cons
  • Out of Style

3/8-16 T-Nut won't fit 1/2 " hole

I needed several 3/8-16 T-Nuts to hold the handles on a pair of sliding doors. I'm in the back were some of the t-nuts visible so i removed the chem film coating with muriatic acid and etched it in phosphoric acid to get a dark color fit in the 1/2" drill bit 12.5mm) I was surprised because the Specifications clearly state that the shank diameter is 12mm, which is less than 1/2". I measured the shank diameter and found it to be 13mm (0.512"), not 12mm (0.500") as I don't have one Having a set…

Pros
  • Enjoy
Cons
  • No Power
