Outstanding compression stockings

I wore them when traveling to Australia from the US east coast. They were comfortable (I have muscular legs and usually need wide toed boots) and really helped keep my shins from swelling after 20+ hours on the road. I even wonder if I can wear them to run now that I'm home!

Pros
  • Durable finish
Cons
  • The list will go on.

I love these socks!

I wore them for my flight back then (Austin --> Philadelphia --> Manchester, England) and they were fantastic. My feet felt so comfortable throughout my 19 hour journey. I love that this brand offers a more premium and stylish option than black or nude compression socks. They cost a little more than I was willing to pay, but they are a great example of "you get what you pay for". You're worth it. I'm so glad I tried them, very satisfied customer.

Pros
  • Shipping was very fast
Cons
  • Some errors

Preferably. TED. Is always. in Active

I'm an ICU technician, work 12 hours a day and do a lot of OT. Weight approx 130-135 lbs, height 5ft 7in, womens shoe size 8.5-9 (I wear Dansko size 40 if that helps). These are without a doubt the best TEDs I've ever worn! They don't slide down. They are not hot, itchy or sticking to my robe. Plus they're damn cute! I bought the purple ones and am already ordering the turquoise ones! When in doubt, make the leap and buy them now!

Poor quality: clothing

I've had the turquoises since September and wear them at least once a week for 12 hours a day. Initially, my biggest complaint is that they are too long. I have these in other colors and others below the knee. These are an inch longer and I have to fold them up so they don't cover my knee. I can live with it. However, today I came home from work and saw that the thumb on the left sock was worn and almost a hole. I really don't know how this is possible. I wash them on a gentle cycle and hang…

Breathable three-season compression socks

I have been wearing Sockwell compression socks for many years. They don't itch (and I'm very sensitive to itchy fur, that's saying a lot), stretch well on my wide ankles and calves, do wonders for my circulation, and best of all, they breathe (something synthetic). Compression stockings are NOT suitable, no matter how "moisture-wicking" they claim to be). They also look great and don't give the impression of an "old lady". I live in New England and wear them September through May. They're…

  • Ideal for a small home

I find them tight at the top of the calf, still love them

While I love all the different graduated compression socks from Sockwell, this one is tighter at the top of the calf so I don't wear them up while wearing chevrons and wear round stripes. This may be due to a different combination of materials or because they are slightly longer than others from ankle to calf. I love this damask pattern combined with the gray tones so I sleep in it at night hoping to lighten it up a bit. These are top notch beautiful socks I always get from Sockwell. My feet…

My Favorites!: Women's

I love these socks. I first bought them on sale for part of a Christmas gift card. They are well done. They are very beautiful, comfortable and relieve me from discomfort during the trip. I've used them all day in a coffee shop as a barista and on long international flights and long journeys. My cousin, a nurse, said that all the executives she works at have recommended wearing compression stockings to prevent varicose veins. I have no idea about any of this, but I do know that these socks will

It's easy to wear and has a very cute pattern!

I have traveled the world and flown many times, but I have never worn compression stockings. I decided to try them based on some recent recommendations. I don't know if I've felt different after wearing them, I've never noticed swollen feet but since nothing negative came from wearing them I would say they worked well. I love that you can choose from different patterns which makes them look younger (although I was wearing yoga pants and no one saw them). They were tight but I didn't feel like…

GREAT for long days on your feet! Also very cute!

This is my first time trying on compression stockings and they work great! I got a new job that got me going and I've been pounding on concrete all day. I wear danskos or abeos on my wide+high feet and soak epsom salts and/or use ice packs at night to ease some of the swelling pain but it wasn't enough. There are also no over-the-counter anti-inflammatory drugs or homeopathic remedies. I decided on compression stockings and found sockwells. They looked cute too, so I decided to give them a try.

Pros
  • GOLS certified
Cons
  • Good but not great
