Very beautiful appearance and good weight. Went up very easily. I changed a few screws. They never give quality screws with anything to install. Other than that I am very happy with this purchase.

It looks like it was made by the workshop that makes a lot of these. The finish where they worked is fine, but it's a poor finish. As if they should do this and move on to the next. One day I will take it off to finish work.

I am a retired naval officer. For the past few years I've been searching for the 'right' door knocker with a dirty anchor. This door knocker, which I found on ebay, is made from solid brass, giving it the weight and sound I was looking for for my recently purchased Pensacola Bay Florida apartment. If it gets stolen I'll buy another one to replace it.

A nice door knocker, especially for sailing lovers! Some important information that is either missing or inaccurate elsewhere: 1) The screws provided are sufficient for attachment from the front of the door. It doesn't require screws going all the way through the door, but you can use other screws if you like.
