That's the way it should be, a solid white playmat. I'm trying to do a custom freehand drawing on it right now. It copes well with sharp objects and anything else that might leave a mark. So if all you want is a white playmat, be aware that it will get dirty if you're not careful.

Great material, looks very clean when you take it out of the box but picks up a lot of dirt very quickly. I actually use this pad as a mouse pad for my computer and I would give it a 5/5 if it didn't look so dirty after 2 months of use. I understand that the product was not intended for such use, but I could only imagine it would get just as dirty playing trading card games on it. Moral of the story: GET A BLACK CARPET!

I was very disappointed to see that these are not ultra professional brands when I took them out. The picture clearly shows the brand name on the carpet. VERY ERROR! They feel very flimsy compared to the Ultra Pro. I suppose I should have read the full description of the white playmat and realized that there is no mention of the brand, if I had known that I would not have ordered it.
