Description of 🚲 Efficient Linear-Pull Brake Compatible SONGMICS Bike Cargo Rack, Rear Carrier (USBC01B)

Load Things Up: Whether you’re popping over to the shops or are on a long-distance tour, this bike rack will give you a boost and support your cargo effectively with the TIG-welded aluminum frame and 3 triangulated stays on both sides; stable loading area holds up to 55 lb. Adjustable Fit: Does it fit your bike? Chances are, if you have a 26”-29” frame and linear-pull brakes with mounting holes to bolt the rack to, the answer is, “yes!” The height is adjustable to fit road or mountain bikes. Installation Minded: Small things can make a big difference—stainless steel screws with locking nuts will not go loose on rough roads or get rusty after light rains; the quality, thickened wrench makes installation much easier than it should be, and all mounting tools are included. Guard on Duty: Top fender panel acts as a mudguard, protecting your bag from road spray while the side frames keep panniers from rubbing on tires or spokes; comes with welded-on reflector mount. What You Get: Aluminum rear bike rack, anti-loosening stainless steel screws, quality wrench, and Allen key.

Great value for money, good rear cargo space.

Sturdy rear cargo bed. A little heavy. A little awkward to install. However, would buy it again because it's affordable and because it adapts to different bike sizes and allows for some adjustments. Mounts it on a medium bike frame with a 700c rear wheel. The frame (a circa 1980 Peugot) had no mounting holes for the bed, so I used metal pipe hanger tape cut with metal snips to create a bracket to attach the front of the tray (I used pipe hangar tape). . straps with other bikes and trays)…

Pros
  • Top marks for grip and durability from testers
Cons
  • Some small things

The mount broke in less than 2 months.

I liked the design of this product. Although I received the first shipment with critical components missing, I waited for a replacement which arrived within 4 days. It took some time to sort the parts and how they should be on the bike. I installed and was using it within 3 days of arriving and installing it, which was about 5 weeks ago. Since then I've ridden over a hundred miles in moderate rain, snow and near freezing temperatures and all has held up well. Until last weekend. The bracket…

I do not recommend. by bike

Absolutely not recommended. If you still receive it. You will need a hammer and a heavy metal plate to split the 3 top pieces on each side as they are not flat with a plate that small screws are difficult to attach to. The length of the screws is horribly short and it took me 3 hours to manage to catch some "meat" (thread) on the other side. worth the trash. I'm sorry but I can't recommend this for my life. Price. That's how you see. Another thing is that all the parts on the small plate where…

Looks solid, time will tell. Some tips on installing

Nut on 10mm seatpost adjusters. If you have a 10mm socket and an extension this will be your friend. Do not place extension poles in the rack or your tire will likely not clear. You have to have them on the outside (sliding parts. I would also recommend flipping the bolt over so the nut is on the outside as well. Otherwise try to tighten the nut from the back and the little wrench they give you will do the trick Doesn't have much leverage Overall the build is pretty tricky as most bike racks…

Great quality great price

I bought this rack after buying another one that attaches to the seat post instead of the lugs in the fork of the bike. After struggling with this wobbly rack that got tangled up with my rear tire (and would have cost more to send back than it would have failed), this rack was a dream come true. It's $10 less than the previous one I bought, has great and detailed instructions, was easy and fun to install (approx). hurry) and durable. For context: My bike is used (which means it's old and rusty)

Pros
  • Nicely packaged
Cons
  • Don't remember
