Sony BDP S280 Blu Ray Disc Player Review

What a piece of Cr_p. Why You Have to Spend Another $80 to Buy a Dongle to Get Wi-Fi Access! It loads slowly and noisily, and I'm sorry I didn't investigate the issues I'm having with this cr_p snippet. I spent $159 on a purchase 2 years ago and all I regret is remembering that people research what you want to buy first! I can buy a ready-made Blu-ray Wi-Fi for less than the price of an adapter. Let the buyer be alert. Sorry for the late post (to put it mildly), but better late than never.

I love this Blu-ray Player! Especially since I can connect to the internet with a SONY WiFi USB dongle. It is chic in its design. It doesn't take up much space despite being longer than my Verison Fios cable box. however, it is quite thin. It plays my Blu-rays well and has great picture quality (which of course your TV also plays a big part in picture quality) and I love being able to access Revain movies, Netflix, Hulu, etc. I highly recommend this product. !

I bought it and used it for a little over a month, mainly to stream Netflix. The Netflix interface and remote control were awkward to use. Too often streaming videos had to be paused and buffered. After I downloaded the first update, it almost completely stopped working. At the end of the Netflix show, my TV showed a blue screen even though the display on the Blu-ray said it was on. The only way to connect it to my TV was to unplug and plug it back in after each show I watched. I called support
