The HEADPHONES I've been waiting for

These headphones were meant to replace other Sony headphones I've bought before: the Sony MDR-XB40EX, which sounded great but were too annoying as I kept going out the ears fell . It was so annoying I had to give them away and buy something else. That's how I found and bought the MDREX310LP and I really like it. They are well built and most importantly they sound great. They are very comfortable to use and once in your ears they stay there (apparently they have some new gripping technology that

Great until you need a helpdesk

These headphones worked reasonably well, playing music clearly and not letting any outside noise through. Everything was fine until I needed service. I bought an extended warranty and that may have caused some of my problems. I contacted customer service and since it was covered under both the original and extended warranties it initially took a week and a half before they finally told me to ship it to their facility in Laredo, Texas. I did it promptly. It was supposed to be an exchange and…

Phenomenal Buds: Headphones

I have the Klipsch IMAGE S4 In-Ear Headphones with Enhanced Bass and Noise Isolation (black) and the Beats by Dr. Dre Tour High-Resolution In-Ear by Monster too, and so far I prefer these headphones. The S4s have excellent sound quality, but they're a lot less comfortable for me and give me a "packed" feeling in my head. The Beats Tour are poorly constructed, uncomfortable and require constant adjustment when worn, although sound quality is good. The sound quality of the EX310 is comparable to…

Great pair of ear tips to match the in-ear headphones

I had a pair of Klipsch S4 headphones that broke after only 3 months. And Klipsch failed their warranty. They sounded decent, but the choice of the cnet editors makes me doubt cnet. The Klipsch aren't built to last, and no matter how careful you are, the Klipsch s4 won't last long. Luckily I bought Square Trade Assurance so I covered *ss. So I went to Amazon with a square refund to look for headphones and came across this Sony MDR EX310 LP. I've heard a lot of good things about the Sony MMP and

The best headphones? Nearly.

First, they're a little heavier than I expected, but that turned out to be a blessing; Their weight actually helped them stay in my ears and they can stay there for hours without causing any irritation or pain. Second, there's a small, hollow rubber protrusion (clearly visible on the earbuds themselves, but not visible in the product image) that you squeeze. when you put on your headphones; They stretch to keep the earbuds firmly in your ear. The idea is AMAZING except the glue used to hold the

Mid-range headphones with excellent sound quality

These Sony headphones have it all. If you're looking for a set of solid-sounding headphones but don't want to shell out the high cost of one of the many high-end headphones, these EX310LPs really should be on your shortlist. The redesigned format sits comfortably and securely in your ears, and the package not only includes a set of different sized earbuds, but also a set of different sized noise-isolating earbuds (meaning you get seven sets of earbuds in total). . . The package also includes a…

  • So far, so good

Keep an eye out for them if they are being sold by a reputable seller (ie Revain direct or someone else) as they are the best buds I have ever used. However, the $100 charged here by the third party is just trying to inflate the price. They're under $100 (no side dishes!). Anyway, I went with these quality headphones, which not only sound good, but also last a while (ie none of the earbuds break after a year). While I can't vouch for having them for over a year now (I bought them in early…
