Great value for the money, definitely recommended!

Back in 1995, a Sony MDR-7506 was brought to me from New York by sound engineer Egory Rudenko, who used exactly the same headphones to master the entire archive of the Aquarium group and other groups from the assortment of the Triary river company. I have these are the only headphones that are still alive. Already 25 years! I carry them with me everywhere. On vacation at sea, in the country. They are very loved by my wife and children for their wonderful sound and for the fact that they sit…

Pros
  • These are professional studio monitors with very good linear frequency response. Comfortable. Quality made. Unkillable.
Cons
  • After 25 years of use, Professional stickers and plastic linings that were above the place where the cups were folded flew off. The plastic film has peeled off the ear pads. (The foam rubber hidden under the film is still alive and does not crumble.) If for someone the above are significant drawbacks, then look for other headphones. ))

I use a year. Headphones are great when moving around, but the weak cable ruined everything =( Different pros: 1) The best headphones for moving in transport, and indeed on the street. Foldable shape to stuff into a bag, excellent soundproofing (tested by daily subway rides), visual elegance and a good musical picture. Has cons: 1) I got it with a weak cable: it broke off at the plug after 3 months of wearing it in a bag (the cable was bent), which naturally surprised me unpleasantly. I also…

Poor quality, not worth the money.

I took it in 2022 in November with delivery from Hong Kong in the Dr. Head store. 9950 but this is not so, they sound at 2-3 thousand in terms of sound level, but not like not at 9950 for sure. And it’s better to always choose with the opportunity to listen to a powerful source, then it will become clear what the headphones are. If you think that the dedicated high frequencies are a sign of poor recording, (they are also presented as studio and professional, I want to cry from this statement…

Pros
  • Plus, the lightness of the headphones, but the lungs. But! Convenience is generally not the most important parameter in choosing headphones.
Cons
  • of the Disadvantages is the lack of a scene in principle, Sibilants at a high frequency, lost bass, there is bass, but it lacks detail, chtoli, attacks. nothing helped them with a Creative Sound Bluster Z sound card, for their price of 9950 thousand, they sound like headphones for 3 thousand, I use my ears Sony Mdr-Ex650AP (3000) in-ear headphones, here they are almost identical in sound quality, only in-ear do not cut the ears and sound more even.

A high-quality product, the price corresponds to the quality.

1. I won’t repeat what has already been said about these excellent headphones, but I’ll add this: if there is a jamb in the mix that is not heard on anything, then these headphones will show it. If a recording was made in a studio and a mouse farted behind the wall in the building across the street, you will hear it. These headphones will amplify any sound jamb many times and present you on a silver platter, even the most purified vinyl will have a natural noise for it, which you have not heard

Pros
  • 1. Excellent and perfectly distinguishable bass throughout the low range. 2. High visibility/readability of tools (aka transparency, but I hate that term). 3. Incredible protrusion of any sound jambs.
Cons
  • Some kind of frequency sticks out at the top, somewhere from 4 to 7 kHz. It can give some instruments an acid tinge. Once you get used to it, you will learn to take this nuance into account when mixing.

On my copy, the left trim tab on the shackle does not click and both move out 1-2 positions with prolonged (> 2-3 hours) continuous use. Its pros: The sound quality is excellent, especially for the price. They sit well, no discomfort even after 5 hours. Conveniently fold up. Got cons: I expected more from the build quality. Already on the third day (about 20 hours of use), the connections of the cups with the bow were slightly loosened.

I didn't expect the quality to be so high.

Definitely take if you do not need a micro or if your work is working with sound. Pros below: The sound emphasizes all the shoals and the once beloved track may cease to be it. It localizes the sound source very well in shooters, it's a pleasure to play. The ears do not get tired, they sit comfortably on the head. Thick cord that won't tangle. Use only with a sound card or professional micro with the ability to connect ears, because there is no sound control and it is demanding on the card…

Good value for money, I recommend it.

I've been using headphones for about 2 years. In terms of sound quality, everything is great, the sound is excellent. For mixing and creating music, that's it. But there is a problem, maybe I personally have, but these headphones turned out to be not convenient for me after a table. Because of this, long work in them is impossible. In general, the sound is top, but the convenience, as for me, is not top at all.

Pros
  • Very tasty and clear sound. Good lows and not bad highs Adapter included
Cons
  • Not comfortable Pretty heavy wire. Ear cushion material

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Overall good, but expected more.

I have been using it for over a year as my main ears for work and listening to music. I use daily. The sound is all right, who needs details, look at the reviews. I'll talk about the shortcomings. 1. The ear pads are trimmed with some kind of thin leatherette, which, after a year of use, was simply torn to shreds and flew around. 2. The wire (the one that connects the ears) is not a wire, it's a flimsy wire. Already breathing heavily. 3. The connection wire is opposite thick and long. I…

Pros
  • Sound.
Cons
  • unreliable, flimsy design.

The quality is top notch, be sure to try it.

If you take it blindly and have previously listened to Sony, you won’t regret it, if you haven’t listened to Sony before, you should think a little, but in general, the headphones are top, but at the beginning it seems that the cymbals are lifted up, believe me, your ears will get used to it after a week of frequent listening and all these troubles will become a thrill , I'm not a sound engineer and I don't rummage around in audio, but I'm absolutely sure that for 9k neither akg nor senheisers…

Pros
  • Sound Appearance Yes, and finally it's top
Cons
  • Small wires between the cups and the headband, it seems like it’s not a big problem, and in fact, I didn’t think so either, but sometimes when you sharply put on the headphones, a finger gets into these wires, they twist into a ring and, as if suddenly, something can be torn off by accident, but you just have to be more careful that's all.

Everything about the product satisfied me, the price is perfect.

From my point of view, it is difficult to judge the sound quality - I do not have high-quality equipment, I use the built-in no-name sound card, telephone. However, it is quite obvious that the Sony MDR 7506 are superior in sound to everything that I have previously listened to - inexpensive stereo systems, Monster Beats by Dre (I don’t have my own, I listened to friends), it doesn’t even make sense to compare with Koss and other consumer goods. I have been using it for a couple of weeks…

Pros
  • + excellent sound; + high-quality construction; + ease of repair (assembly instructions included); + a long twisted cable with a gold contact and an adapter for an "adult" jack.
Cons
  • - seems to be out of production; - they are not officially delivered to Ukraine; - a lot of fakes on all sorts of e-bay, you need to be careful.

I do not cease to rejoice at the purchase, a very good deal!

I bought them in the fall of 2022, I still use them. I fell in love with the first songs I listened to. Despite the fact that they are closed, you can mix music in them. Getting used to the nature of their sound is quite simple. Very tight and deep bass, slightly lifted top. For listening to music, these headphones are also great. The ear pads began to peel off after 5 years of not the most active use, but this does not interfere with work at all, and replacing them, as far as I know, is not a…

Pros
  • First of all - of course the sound. Very detailed sound. They don't call them "honest" for nothing. Ease. The head does not get tired after long work. Cost (especially before the jump in the dollar). "Full" frequency range (20 Hz - 20 kHz).
Cons
  • As much as I want to, I don't know what to complain about.

Best thing I have ever used, highly recommended!

I don’t know if you can still find the original for sale, but if you find it, you probably won’t find anything better for this price. Different pros: Build quality. For 10 years, nothing has loosened, neither the fasteners nor the connector. Great sound. For the same 10 years, no subsidence in the audible range was noted. Some cons: None. To include in the shortcomings of skin peeling off the ear pads, a hand does not rise, but if this is important to someone .

Great product, a pleasure to use.

The sound is natural, not embellished, comfortable, you can sit for hours recording, universal, suitable for monitoring your works and for DJing. Someone wrote that they are not suitable for a player or phone, they play on them, but only as wav. ( depending on which player else) Headphones were bought exclusively for home studios. Therefore, everything suits me)) For such a price, in my opinion, the best headphones!

Pros
  • Sound, design, quality!
Cons
  • not yet discovered

Revainrating 1 out of 5

Disgusting, I don't recommend it to anyone!

And I'm talking about the original model, what happens on fakes is scary to think about. Once upon a time I was led by reviews about them, in the end they lie in the recording booth and few artists take them. And most importantly! CONCLUSION! DO NOT BUY THIS CRAP! I won’t talk about what can be better bought for this money so that they don’t think that I’m advertising someone, but it’s just rubbish, I threw the money in the trash. Yes, for $ 100 there is no professional sound, but it sounds…

Pros
  • Only soundproofing.
Cons
  • The sound is disgusting, the highs are pulled back, but they do not give clarity, they give a sour cut, from which the ears get tired after 5 minutes of use. Bottoms, they are not, nothing more to say. Middle failed. Build quality? LOL! Ear cushions from which the ears turn into a bathhouse, wiring cups that strive to fall out of them showing their bare part, the headband from which your crown will hurt.

The product is good, there are only a few minor flaws.

I took these ears, made in Thailand. Model SONY MDR-7506/1. At first I was struck by a very very loud sound. Excellent detail. I heard a lot of new things in the old tracks. Upset tsykayuschie top, even in firm tracks. The sibilants whistle. I suspect that this is a feature of the Thai assembly. Japanese did not listen, there is nothing to compare with. Owners of the original version, respond! After a week of warming up, it seemed to sound softer. The vocal recordings are great! You don't need…

Pros
  • Excellent detail. They are amazing on vocals.
Cons
  • Raised tops. The ear pads would be bigger.

I am very happy with this purchase, I will advise everyone!

We had at our disposal: a Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge phone, an iPad 2022 9.7 and a computer with a Realtek sound card built into the motherboard. The same music participated in the tests - a playlist on Apple Music and several tracks in Flac format (for example, Queen, ATB, Modern Talking, Twenty One Pilots, Nickelback, Robert Miles). I connected it to the computer, the sound is not bad, the volume is enough to comfortably listen at the maximum (that is, in fact there is not enough volume, you…

Pros
  • - The sound quality is beyond praise. Clear surround sound over the entire frequency spectrum, nothing falls through, basses such as they should not hammer out of nowhere, but pump at the right moments, as intended. At the same time, nothing interrupts anything, all the instruments are heard, they can be distinguished and isolated from the context, including in the "meat" parts of the rock genre. You will hardly find the best sound in the budget up to 15-20k. - Soundproofing - good for passive, especially outgoing. If you do not turn it on to the maximum, others will not hear even in a quiet room. - Good build and components. The design inspires confidence, wiring, jack 3.5 plug, let's check the time. - The price, which is quite low for such sound quality.
Cons
  • - Cable 2/3 of which is wound like a telephone wire. As a result, it is quite heavy for a headphone cable, if you hold the tablet with all the cable on the weight, the upper part of the tablet is pulled down under the weight of the cable, you can feel it. - Stationarity - follows from the previous paragraph. Although the manufacturer hints at portability with a foldable design of the headphones and a bag for transportation in the kit - no, this is just for transportation, for example, from home to office / studio and back. It will not be very convenient to use them to listen to music in transport. - Demanding - you need a good enough signal source to reveal the sound quality of the headphones. (see comment)

Good value for money, I recommend it.

It's all a matter of "what to take", "with what to use" and, above all, "taste". They came to me, but I will not recommend for everyday use. Got pros: 1. Bass is the way I like it. They pump, but not quite loud and the rest of the sound does not kill 2. Sound is relatively detailed 3. They sit comfortably, you can listen for hours 4. "What is snow to me, what is heat to me, what is pouring rain to me, these ears are constantly with me") Has some cons 1. In order for the first two pluses to…

I definitely recommend buying, I didnt notice any disadvantages.

Good headphones, which I bought in the NB company for the "mid-market" 7100, which is quite satisfied. The purchase is long-awaited and justified its expectation, the sound is clear, as many assure diamond, but I'm not so esthete to judge the authenticity of these statements. I give a special place to the seller consultant who helped me with the purchase, his name was Mikhail and he politely told me in an unobtrusive manner about all the questions that interested me, and also notified me about…

Pros
  • Competent design, flexible shape, ease of connection and configuration, the ability to use with a PC without an external sound card (the built-in one is enough), the ability to work with a bass guitar when connected to an amp
Cons
  • The left ear sweats when sitting for a long time, perhaps the design will seem "old-fashioned" to someone, but only buzzers can have such problems

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Good product for me, no problems at all.

I don’t often work with sound, I don’t have a musical education, but I think I can distinguish good headphones from bad ones. I have been using the same headphones for 10 years already - I only change the ear pads every couple of years, and during this time I managed to change about a dozen plugs (to the exit). I bought them when they were still worth 4000r. In principle, even with the current price - very worthy, I immediately recommend buying spare ear pads, 2-3 pairs, so that in ten years…

Pros
  • - Sound, not in vain they are often used (or were used earlier) in sound engineering abroad. - Landing on the head - nowhere too tight, you can wear all day. - Virtually indestructible - experienced a lot in 10 years of use.
Cons
  • - Cord - ok for home/studio/train travel, but too long and too flexible for outdoor use. - Ear cushions - outer material, thin, it seems like rubber, starts to crumble after a year or two. On Ali you can buy a replacement.

The perfect purchase for me, exactly what I was looking for!

Great sound, albeit a "special" sound. In computer games, so generally a fairy tale. Indestructibility under heavy use will turn the cost of ownership into a penny. Has pros: Clear sound, bright highs and lows, strong head compression, small pressure ear cushions, excellent sound isolation. At high resistance, really loud. Unkillable design. Different cons: They are not here. Unless the top and bottom are pulled up, but this is not for everybody. Well, small ear pads. It was cured by buying…
