Obviously the product has never been tested. VHS tapes are not tracked, so they cannot be viewed. This is the only reason for this purchase and it didn't work. I sent the same information to the seller and never received a reply.

This player works fine. The picture shows the remote control and that was one of the reasons I bought it. I have an elderly group of men and women who use this at our senior center and would really appreciate a remote control.

It did everything I bought it for. The remote worked. DVD played well. The VHS played well and fast forwarded and rewound. Keep in mind. There is no eject button on the remote control. DVD or VHS bookmarks must be manually ejected from the player. I deduct a star for that. I'm taking the star off because the eject button doesn't work on the VHS side. Product return of course, but everything worked except for the eject button.

Completely disappointed. Initially I thought the missing remote control was the biggest problem with this purchase. Shortly thereafter, my husband went to set it up and we found more problems. The opened DVD tray was covered with dust. To be honest, popping is the only functional thing about this device. It does not play DVDs or VHS tapes. On the first try after setup it played the tape for 6 seconds, then hung up and stopped playing. The numbers that indicate the playback time no longer move…
