I just got one of these and it doesn't work. This is not accurate at all, far from true readings. I wrote to the company and they charge $50 for calibration. Don't buy, don't lose your money.

Using the human body as a reference for calibration, this deviation is about 3 degrees. Good enough for many construction or industrial situations, but not for anything where sub-degree accuracy is required.
