Description of Spectra Premium FN1017 Fuel Filler

Unit is designed to Original Equipment (OE) fit, form and function requirements. Unit is dual coated for enhanced corrosion protection. Fit tested on the very same vehicle application for which it was developed verifying first-hand that the design fits properly and can be easily installed. Unit is leak tested after production to ensure product in free from fuel and / or evaporative leaks. Tested with Original Equipment (OE) fuel cap to prevent EVAP and check engine light failure.

Not a perfect fit. for fuel system

Elbows and filler necks matched, but the bottom tab that was supposed to bolt to the frame was completely wrong. I just used screws in the filler hole to hold it up and hope the hose from the tank supports the bottom.

somewhat satisfied: filler

I liked the ease of purchasing this product and that it is already primed and painted and ready to install. However, the hole didn't match and we had to drill additional holes to attach it. That being said, I found the fuel line worked very well and did its job.

Fit 2006 Aero in Fuel Tanks and Accessories

The surface is a little rough, installation needs to be in a tight space, but it does what it's supposed to do. Parts for these cars are hard to come by, so you're often on the hunt for what you need. My advice: take this part and then take it to a trusted mechanic and let him or her do the hard work. They'll be thankful they didn't have to waste time looking for a part. :)

Barely fits and needs some modification

for 2006 Suzuki Aerio not many parts options so sometimes you get what you get and that's something you need to take care of. This parts maker definitely cut some corners (literally). The bottom bend wasn't sharp enough and interfered with the solid frame under the car, causing the mounting bracket to not line up with the mounting hole. I made a standoff bracket and drilled/cut a hole to attach the bottom end of the bracket. The surface of the tube is coated but incredibly rough compared to the
