Spectra Premium TB1014 Electronic Throttle Review

Works great, great replacement for my previous one. I only need to replace the TPS to be honest, but this whole unit costs a little more than buying a TSP, so I went with that instead.

The part arrived the next day and fitted our vehicle perfectly. Plus the price couldn't be beat, over $100 less than what the mechanic wanted. Very happy with our purchase!

Removal and installation was as easy as possible, just 4 screws. Electrical connections fit well. I followed the instructions and googled the relearning process. Car runs, MIL light off, hopefully 150,000 miles to go.

I fitted the part and a week later the machine did the same and gave the same error code. I took the car to Ford and they told me that the same part I installed the week before needed to be replaced. Wasted time and trust!

Very good throttle body replacement for a 2004 Ford Explorer XLT. The car has become more responsive and drives much better. Good value for money. This part requires an appropriate seal, so be sure to include this when ordering this part.

My throttle position sensor put out a code that didn't light up my CEL but I scanned it anyway and found my TPS needed replacing. Anyway, seen on the web, really great price, got it, installed at night on October 23rd with the phone backlit -_-. Also get the gasket recommended with this part. I regret not having bought them. Easy to replace my 05 CVPI and has been working great ever since! 5 stars so far, will update if necessary!
