Spectre Performance 24283 Throttle Bracket Review

I put Holley 600 at 76350 with gearbox TH350. The clip that came with Holley was wrong and Summit/Holley/everyone else charged over $60 just for the correct clips (there are 2 of them). I've used this and it's perfect for throttle and kickdown cables. Once everything was tightened, it was solid (not as solid as Holly, but hey, it's $8).

Too bad the bracket took two carburetor bolts at the back. It is designed to attach to only one. For this I made a small extension out of an aluminum bracket, so that it looks pretty solid now. There are a lot of adjustments built into this kit (because it's meant to be versatile) and even adding a mount still saved me a lot of time. I cut off the parts I don't need to keep it looking pretty clean. The price is right too, so I would recommend it.

Need a way to connect 700r4 to Edelbrock, it works. And I already had one that should have worked, from Sumitt Racing. This puts the TV cable on a single line rather than a one-way offset. Surprisingly, finding a good throttle body bracket for my engine/carburetor combo was more difficult than I thought. 78 Chevy 350 with Edelbrock 1906. I tried the Edelbrock universal throttle cable mount and it wasn't as versatile. Everything I could find online showed people making their own, but I don't have the tools for that. This is a really cool and very useful mount. This allows you to adjust the throttle cable to control the carburetor butterflies throughout the stroke range. More importantly, it allows you to properly set up the TV cable for transmission. (By the way, television is not just television!). The chrome plating matches all Specter products.
