Everything fits except for the screws!

This is a chrome diff cover but it came with the wrong size screws (too long) and they taped a packet of screws to the inside of the diff cover leaving things inside that I had previously had to remove. I could use that, I didn't use seals, although I bought grease cabinets instead.

Pros
  • Beautifully packaged
Cons
  • Periodicity

Best value for money

I fitted this differential cover to my 1997 Dakota, it fits perfectly, the only problem I have is that the filler hole is lower than the original, the oil level on The top holes are pending on this cap, so I took my grinder and cut a slit in the filler plug about halfway through the threads so that when I tighten the plug it doesn't leak, but when I unscrew the plug almost all the way it has a 3/16 hole. above to fill it up and check the level

Pros
  • Stylish and modern design
Cons
  • Safety

Poor quality screws and longer than they should be

Just fit this to my 2000 Jeep Cherokee. The cover has stretch marks from the die-cutting machine it was formed on. Not a high quality chrome finish. The screws are of poor quality and longer than they should be. I think people here break the screws that come with the cover because they are longer than the stock screws. I couldn't get two bolts in and if I pushed it I would have broken the head of the bolt. At least that is my expierience.

Pros
  • Absolutely amazing!
Cons
  • Guard

I have a 1998 Cherokee and bought this cover because of a typical rubber plug leak. It fits quite well but on my jeep when I took the old one off and compared to this one I noticed that the filler plug was lower than the original and you couldn't fill it to the correct level and therefore the oil wouldn't get in the wheel bearings. Needless to say I haven't installed it. It says it's for older Chryslers and I think the axle is lower on the diff mount or something.

Pros
  • Pretty impressive
Cons
  • Dull packaging

Rust within 3 years, often leaking. Poor quality

I bought this case in December 2017. I installed a storage box on the rear axle of my van and thought it would look a little "cooler". I took this cap off within four months because the cheap gasket that came with it leaked almost immediately. And then I had to refill the plug soon after because apparently the threads were loose enough for the transmission fluid to come through and drain out. Now here in August 2021 I was right under my van and not only can I see it leaking again due to the…

Pros
  • Great for outdoor activities
Cons
  • Not sure
